Roblox has become worst day by day

Roblox, the multibillion-dollar company, has faced much criticism after rolling out age estimation and removing classic faces from its marketplace.

For those unfamiliar with Roblox, it is an online game platform and game creation system developed by Roblox Corporation that allows users to program and play games created by themselves or other users.

Many indie devs have considered this platform, and some hope more games will appear on the feed. We had battlegrounds games, FPS, obby, RP, and many others.

People loved playing those games and having their friends join to experience fun on Roblox. They had events, limited items, and a content creator program for YouTubers to sign up.

But everything took a different turn when age verification started, locking chat and creating "age groups." A 20-year-old man named Schlep was groomed as a child by a Roblox dev after he attempted to end his life.

Schlep spent days, even months, catching child predators on the platform. What did Roblox give him for his work? They served him a cease and desist, telling him to stop. This made many people angry, and #freeschlep trended on x.com and other platforms. They even banned his costume, and games about him were banned.

They faced many lawsuits in the US, and many people are talking about it. They did not apologize to Schlep, but they doubled down on the situation. Then they changed corporate names for every category and renamed “friends” to “connection” and other things, and they also banned the word “freeschlep” from every game.

They removed classic faces and other old Roblox elements.
